Trip to Perth 20-25 Apr 2007

Had a wonderful time in Perth, taking a break from the stresses of life, refreshing my spirit, enjoying God's creations, doing things I normally don't get to do, meeting up with friends...

People of the world inscribe the Bible

This project is organised by the Bible Society of Singapore in cooperation with the Embassy of Israel and The Bible Valley Society.

Through this project, the Bible Society hopes to raise funds to purchase Bibles for our needy brothers and sisters. Acknowledging that the Bible is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our paths, a few friends and I are aligned with this cause and we got together to handwrite the entire book of Lamentations.

Many hands make light work - we finished 154 verses in less about one and a half hours! And everyone contributed generously to the cause!

Key verses to take note:

Lamentations 3:22-26

22 Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, "The LORD is my portion; therefore I will wait for him."
25 The LORD is good to those whose hope is in him, to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

1. Combined easter sunday service... played with WWE and we sounded good!
2. Easter egg hunt for the girls at CR
3. Sis's birthday BBQ

Easter Egg Hunt
Egg means life... so there's easter eggs and easter egg hunts...

And yi-yi has to plan for one - for the chey-cheys and Phoebe.
