June 08 Holidays

The big chey-cheys have a very busy schedule in June but they still made time for their god-cousins who adore them very much...

Finally... a day out...

Finally... after 5 weeks of being on medical leave... I get to spend some time soaking up the Christmas atmosphere.

We celebrated Rebecca's 13th birthday with her other godmother at Black Angus Steakhouse...

And then brought the girls to get their very own bears at Build a Bear Workshop...

Here's a picture of Bec and Pookie...

And Jessica with Kayla...

And the 3 of us...

It sure was a fun day out...

Asher's first month party

Asher turned 20 days old today and we had his first month party at the function room.

We celebrated his arrival early because Grandpa and Grandma were going to be away.

The occasion was a ray of sunlight during my medical leave.

Me and Asher:

The 3 proud chey-cheys pushing Asher around in his pram:

And a very delighted yi-yi making her way to the party on crutches.

Elmo Show & Aunty Duty

Went with Phoebe and her mummy to the Elmo Show at Downtown East on 22 Jun.

Am wondering why I have to put up with watching kiddy shows all over again... I remember the times I had to accompany my baby sister and the two chey-cheys who are no longer babies to countless kiddy shows and events ....

But I guess Phoebe's expressions and her wonderment says it all...

And I'm reminded of Sumiko Tan's article (Just Call Me Auntie, LifeStyle, June 17). It's fun being an aunt... playing with the kids, enjoying their company, their hugs and kisses and sometimes disciplining them... and at the end of the day, there's the opportunity of returning them to their parents. :)

June hol outing with the girls

3 weeks just zip by and very soon school starts again next week for the 3 girls... yes, even for Phoebe...who's just turned 3...

So I took leave and took the girls out (of course with my sis in tow - told her I can't handle 3 girls by myself).

First we went to West Coast Park for kite-flying...

then to McDonalds to cool off...

Before heading to Vivocity for lunch at White Dog Cafe... and the best part of lunch was inevitably the desserts... check out the smiles....

Easter Sunday

Easter Sunday - the resurrection of Christ!

Significant day... marks the occasion for my first post!!! :)

3 important events took place on this very day ... 9 Apr 2007

1. Combined easter sunday service... played with WWE and we sounded good!
2. Easter egg hunt for the girls at CR
3. Sis's birthday BBQ

Easter Egg Hunt
Egg means life... so there's easter eggs and easter egg hunts...

And yi-yi has to plan for one - for the chey-cheys and Phoebe.

The pictures tell it all... the fun and excitement with the specially-bought egg basket...
